My Fascinating Girls 2023 Trip was for my birthday treat to myself. Of course my oldest sister invited me to go along with the ladies to New York City. My first thought was I needed to celebrate myself in a good way. At the time I wish I would have known about all of the great ways that I could have saved if only I was enrolled with the Fun Saving Network Program. First Class Airline Experience
Have you ever wondered how it would feel to sit in First Class—just for the experience? I certainly had, and there I was in Seat 1A, next to the window, watching as we ascended into the early morning sky. As the plane lifted, I gazed out in awe at what God has created, quietly praying and giving thanks for such a wonderful moment. While enjoying the comfort of being able to relax comfortably, having an awesome breakfast , and staff were very constantly asking if I needed or desired anything else. My neighbor was a very polite senior trying to encourage me to order champagne, which I told her that I was fine.
Takeoff was exhilarating, and soon we were on our way to New York City’s LaGuardia Airport. To my surprise, everyone around me was respectful and calm—no disturbances at all. We experienced no turbulence, thank God, making the flight even more enjoyable. After arriving at the airport, I was the first to arrive, since I left from the south and the other ladies traveled from the north and western area.
I had made arrangements for car service to pick up my sister and I. While waiting for her flight to arrive, I had to take the terminal bus to arrive at the Southwest airline terminal to wait for my Sister’s arrival. Once all of the ladies picked up their luggage, we were all on our way to the hotel. Some of the ladies arrived by train.

Girls 2023 Coming Together For Fun to Start!
Every day of the trip had been planned with intention and care. The next morning, we set out on an excursion walking along Wall Street. I never thought that I would be doing so much walking, even though I did have my comfortable shoes, and definitely winter gear with my gloves. Seeing all of the historical spots Trinity Church Manhattan in the Financial District area.
The miles of walking felt symbolic—each step carrying us deeper into history. Then off for the boat ride on the Liberty Cruise over to Ellis Island visiting the Statue of Liberty and shared lunch there, Surrounded by echoes of hope, sacrifice, and new beginnings. It was impossible not to reflect on the lives that once passed through those same spaces, chasing dreams much bigger than themselves.
My Trip Reflection
Then we arrived at Ground Zero. At that moment, time seemed to stand still. A deep sense of solidarity wrapped around us as the weight of history pressed gently, yet firmly, on my heart. All the emotions I had carried since that horrific day came rushing back—grief, disbelief, remembrance, and reverence. Standing there was more than a visit; it was a moment of reflection, a quiet honoring of lives lost, and a reminder of how deeply shared history connects us all.
On that dreadful morning I was working at the Police Station and in front of my computer, when one of my co-workers was in the breakroom and the door was open. All of a sudden I heard a scream and of course I left my work station to check it out.
As we left Ground Zero, I carried a stillness with me—one that didn’t need words. The laughter and movement of the city continued all around us, yet something inside me had shifted. This journey was no longer just about travel or carefully planned days; it had become a reminder of resilience, unity, and the power of shared remembrance.
History is not only something we read about—it lives in us, shapes us, and calls us to pause, reflect, and honor those who came before. At that moment, I understood that this trip was not just about where we went, but about how deeply we felt, how closely we connected, and how grateful I was to stand in the presence of both loss and hope.
Unforgettable Great Moments Girls Trip 2023
While walking around New York City I have never seen so many skyscrapers. Trying to walk along the way and observing all of the E-Business and E-Marketing in real time. Eating out at various restaurants from Caribbean Food, Pizza was the boom. From my point of view all of the food that I have tried as been excellent. Having fun taken in Broadway show The Lion King, which I have seen in Miami, but the Broadway show was a completely different experience.
We had fun while at the Summit One Vanderbilt Tour, and we all felt like small children having the fun of our lives. It was fun while in Harlem getting to visit the World Famous Apollo. I would image that all the Broadway Shows will be an experience like never before. So when I go back to New York City I know where I want to continue starting off with the Broadway Shows and of course more tours. Hopefully when I return to New York City Macy’s will still be operable, and checking out Central Park and others.
As we began to wine down our 5 day Girls 2023 Trip In New York City, we all gathered together in the hotel lobby trying to get ideas for another trip. There is so much to see in the USA that is of course if everything remains calm around us.
